Our Staff

Youko Kato, our design manager who loves to laugh, share food, and play pranks. She is our "food director" with a gift of hospitality and giving hugs.

Yuko Karino, mother of two energetic boys. She is our starting member and does both sewing and shipping. A natural encourager who loves to welcome people. 

Miyuki Watanabe, mother of three playful children. She is our starting member who does both sewing and product photography. She loves to make beautiful things from scrap fabric.


Lorna Gilbert on the right is one of the Megumi Project leaders. She is involved in many ways, from vision casting and encouraging to checking products for quality control. 

Keiko Okamoto on the left is a great seamstress as well as a craft enthusiast who is behind our resin accessories. An energetic mother of three boys! Yumi Abe on the right is working as a helper in the production room by ironing, as well as creating charming kimono accessories. A mother of 3 kids.

Mie Suda on the right is a fun-loving seamstress who enjoys making scarves and jewelry at home. She works in the production room making scarves and headbands.  A fun mother of two kids.

Satoko Murakami is an experienced seamstress as well as our computer personnel. She uploads all our products on the website, sews bags and book covers in the production room, and sews cute little pouches at home too!
